VENT stupidity- wives tale on cutting hair

Ugh, someone just posted on my FB that she was "spooked" and afraid to cut her hair because there is an Old Wives Tale that it causes miscarriage. Maybe it is the horomones, but it is making me incredibly angry that someone could be so flippant about something like a haircut. Cut your hair or don't, Stupid!

Well I had a miscarriage last August, and I didn't get my hair cut. So that sounds pretty damn dumb to me. WTF!

I just cut mine lol it's to hot in South Georgia for long hair! My hair lady yesterday told me someone once told her not to cut a pregnant woman's hair. But I think she meant that hormone may hate it later wise.

Well I cut off 7 inches yesterday so guess I'm screwed...so dumb! It's things like that that circulate the Internet and freak naive pregnant women out!

I agree! That is what upset me so much about it. She posted it to a forum for Moms, many of whom have undoubtedly had miscarriages. It is just so incredibly stupid that it didn't warrant mentioning when it could really hurt someone.
