Bleeding found with u/s

ok ladies, i went today for my first ultrasound at 6 weeks. Baby looked good with a heartbeat of 125 bpm. However, they did tell me I had a bleed (not sure where But picked up on ultrasound) so they gave me a rhogain shot. I've not been spotting or anything only mild cramps. She didn't seem concerned at all but I am!!! Anyone had this issue? I even asked if I should worry and she said no but idk, this is the first time I've seen this dr.

Re: Bleeding found with u/s

  • If your doctor said not to worry Id try not to worry. I know its easier said than done but stress wont help and Im sure they would have let you know if there was a problem. Did the Dr even say anything about taking it easy? If not then you probably don't have anything to worry about. I dont have personal experience with this however so maybe someone who does can offer more insight.

  • Same here but my doc just put me on bed rest for a few days. I go back tomorrow for another ultrasound to see if it's better. Apparently they're very common and harmless to the baby but we just need to take it easy so they can heal.
  • Best of luck with everything to the both of you!
  • I kinda have the same just that on me they found 2 sacs one with baby and one with fluid which they believe is causing me to light/spotting bleeding I've been on bed rest practically a whole week, hoping soon it gets better and wishing you the best of luck.
  • Thank you for answering. I was freaking out!! I hate that you all are going thru this but I am relieved to know this is common. They gave me my shot and then schedule my next visit in 4 weeks , like normal. Ahhh so stressful. Please keep me updated and prayers for yall!
  • I had a subchorionic bleed in my first. I had heavy bleeding at 9 weeks and they detected it on the u/s when I went in. I immediately freaked because the bleed was a lot bigger than the baby. In all honestly they can go either way, but in most cases your body absorbs the blood or you could bleed it out (with no impact to babe). Mine went away around week 14 and they typically clear by 20 weeks.
I now have a happy and healthy one year old. Just take it easy, drink plenty of fluids and try not to lift heavy or contract your uterus.

    Thinking of you all!
  • Just had my u/s yesterday too at 7w 1d. Strong heartbeat but found a small clot in uterus. Dr said not to worry it's very common but of course we all worry. I'm on pelvic rest aka no sex, no exercise, no heavy lifting...praying we all get through it ♡
  • Anyone having any pain? I'm having pain on my
Right side. Nothing I cant tolerate and I'm not sure if it's growing pains. Lol only seems to be painful when I'm tossing and turning in bed.

You may want to call your doctor about one sided pain. Could be the first signs of an ectopic.
  • Wouldn't they have seen it on the ultrasound if it was ectopic?
  • I get the occasional cramps too. If you've had an ultrasound and they've seen the baby in the uterus then it can't be ectopic.
  • Sorry yes I didn't see your previous post. You're good if you've already had a us!
  • Shew, ok thanks! One less thing to worry about lol thanks yall!
