First timer here also!

in November 2015 Moms
I believe I am 5w 1d. I have my first OB appointment next week. I will be 6w. Will I have an ultrasound or be able to hear the heart beat?

    Welcome and congrats! Ask your dr what they typically do at a first appointment as each dr is different ;)

    I'm a first timer too! I originally wasn't going to be able to see my ob until I was what I thought to be almost 11 weeks but due to some spotting they moved up my appointment. I went in Monday thinkng I was 6w6d and it turned out I was only 6w but I was able to see and hear the heart beat! It was amazing ! I know everyone is different but hopefully you'll get the same experience. Good luck!
