Im 36 weeks pregnant and the last few days I've been getting random inner left thigh cramps that is REALLY painful. only for a minute though. anyone have any ideas?
Depending how high they are, could be the dreaded "lightning crotch" that's been posted about quite a bit. Or maybe just the muscle stretching and prepping for birth. I know I get stiff if I sit for too long, so I've gotta stand up and stretch quite often at work to prevent it (I work a desk job).
I'm 35 weeks today and have been getting them for a couple of weeks now. It helps me to get on my knees and lean forward onto a pillow to kind of stretch out a little bit. Then one of my dogs usually comes to see what I'm doing so that helps distract me, (: At least they don't last too long! They also seem to be worse when I haven't had much water (go figure).
Ooh yes, I've been getting them for a few weeks. It seems to me more like baby is leaning on a nerve because sometimes they'll be down the inside of one thigh, then down the other side, or sometimes both at the same time. It's usually when I've overdone it so just sitting down for a little while usually helps me.
