  It's not the best determiner.. You'll hear many stories both ways on this forum

  I've heard over 150 girl under boy but like @melewen said it's not a real determiner

  The heartbeat predictor really doesn't work, my baby's heartbeat has been about 145-148 each time and it's a girl :-)

  My baby girls heart rate was 144... every old wives tale said boy for us. . And it's a girl!

  Mine was 143 last time and I go in tomorrow to find out the sex! I have been feeling like it's a girl but with my luck it's probably two boys haha

  My boy was 178 at 10 weeks and then in the 140's and 130's the rest of my pregnancy. This baby of mine was in the 150's at about 12 weeks.

  The heart rate gender was wrong for me both times. Both boys had heart rates in the upper 160's all throughout my pregnancies.

  My boy was 143 & my girl 158. However this is not a good determiner of sex

  I'm having a confirmed boy and his heartbeat was 140 at my last two appts. My daughter was really close to that too. So I don't think you can really go by that.
