Hey there! Im expecting multiples so naming is quite challenging. For girls : Cecily Elsa, Jacklyn Monique,Trixie ( no middle name yet) For boys : Maxwell Bernhard , Marek( or mark) William( or stanley) Thoughts?
Honestly, I think you're a bit all over the place in style with these choices... not sure any of them truly fit together. You've got names from all over the world, variant spellings, surnames, etc. I've broken them all down below to have a better look.
Cecily - English form of Cecilia
Elsa - short form of Elisabeth
Both of these names are nice although I wouldn't pair them together because they make similar 's' sounds and it's a bit overwhelming.
Jacklyn - variant spelling of the English name Jacqueline
Monique - French form of Monica
I don't like the variant spelling Jacklyn, at all. It looks misspelled. Pairing it with Monique makes me think you switched to that spelling to avoid the two 'Q' spellings in succession, which I suppose was a good choice. However, again, I wouldn't pair these two names together because they really seem to be competing with each other. Each deserves to be in the prominent first position with a shorter/lighter name in the supporting middle position, IMO.
Trixie - diminutive of the English name Beatrix
This one confuses me. I love Beatrix and can accept the nickname Trixie if this was it's full version. I absolutely would not use Trixie as a full name. It's silly sounding and is really only acceptable for a casual and playful nickname. If you want to use this name then I advise you to use Beatrix as the full first name, because your daughter deserves a real full name that she can live with as an adult.
Maxwell - Scottish surname and short version of Scandinavian name Magnus
Bernhard - the German/Scandinavian version of Bernard
Again, both nice names but not sure where you're going with them. Both have Scandinavian roots, are you Scandinavian and trying to find a nod to your heritage? If so, great. Otherwise these seem a bit off the wall. Why the Scandinavian version of Bernard paired with Maxwell? If it was Magnus Bernhard, I would understand. These just seem like an odd pairing.
Marek - Czech, Polish, Slovak form of Mark
William - Anglo version of Germanic name Whilhelm
Stanley - English surname
Again, all nice names but another group that seem all over the place in style. Marek and William are competing with other. Stanley is a completely different style, IMO.
Suggestions... mainly I would change the pairings around for the girls
Beatrix Elsa or Monique Elsa
Jacqueline Cecily or Cecilia Jacqueline (yep, I would use the proper spelling of Jacqueline, not the variant)
I know its from all around the world, but each name has very special meaning for us. And before i got pregnant , i traveled the world, so that also fits. Marek ( the polish version of mark) is to honor a really special person in my life who was actually instrumental in my becoming pregnant. Trixie means bringer of joy , which she definately already has Elsa( the middle name ) is the name i gave to the first baby we lost. We want to somehow honor her memory Cecily we just always loved, a strong old fashioned name Maxwell we absolutely love .. Also a very strong name I have never cared much about names rhyming or same letter names for multiples, with all due respect. Thats just me, and i realize that naming is one of the biggest debates ever!

Then why did you come to a public forum and ask for opinions? Seems you've got it all sorted out on your own.

Yeah, neither am I . Thats why I suggested picking a non-M name so you didn't have two boys whose name started with an M and the third being the odd one out.
If you're not going to read why did you bother asking for opinions?
There is no third boy , sorry for confusion. Marek ( or mark) as first name , william or stanley as middle name. I really mean no disrespect at all. I just actually find names fascinating
Then you probably should have included all of your personal connections and reasoning in your original post... instead of just throwing names out with no other information. It's a little annoying to take the time to give such a detailed response only to receive a snotty reply negating all points and suggestions given. Makes you sound like a know-it-all who doesn't care to hear the opinions of others because you feel you know better... even though you asked for our "thoughts".
I dont think i was snotty in the slightest, and i actually did learn more about the origins from your post. Im not going to argue with you. I really did not intend to tick you off. Im just like all of you, giving lots of thoughts to one of the most compex things in pregnancy, naming your baby.
It is more than twins. Lol. I know its confusing. The doctor heard 5. We are guessing 3 girls and 2 boys. I never really thought about marek after william but that sounds nice too! Its 5 times harder to name. Hehe
As for heritage, i am part french ( hence monique) and hubby is adopted but we think his heritage is scandinavian, and i didnt know that bernhard was also scandinavian. Learn something every day!

Welp. In that case, you should start looking for another girls name.
I'm expecting twins! I can't imagine having 5! Maybe TLC will give you a TV show.I like all your names except for Monique and William. I think Trixie is cute but might not age well. Good luck to you
I wasnt aware it made me a liar to have an unusual situation. we shall see at ultrasound, till then, I am going by the number of hearts the doctor heard . Might be more , might be less
The girl names are nms, but I do like your boy names. Marek is one of my favorites. If you have 5 babies, I don't think there is anything wrong with having more than one "M" name.

Haha, yeah it took me a while to catch on to all the acronyms (still not sure of a few). You'll get the hang of it! Hope everything goes really well at your ultrasound.

For a boy, Marek.
Your other names are good too, except Trixie.
I'm sorry if it's special to you, but to me it sounds like a horse.
