I am 19 weeks and 4 days and I have been feeing little flutters. The other day it felt stronger so I pressed down and could feel him kicking back. What an amazing feeling! Now I can definitely tell the difference between gas and baby!
I never got the butterflies or fish swimming feeling. I was starting to get frustrated and nervous. But at 18 weeks 3 days I finally stated feeling that "popping" feeling. I thought I was going crazy at first but now since then everyday I feel a little movement. Now at 19 weeks It feels almost like i'm being lightly poked from the inside. Its such a weird feeling I cant even put it into words, but I cant feel it with my hands yet, but I know that will come next!
I am 20 weeks tomorrow and I can feel actual kicks! (Just this past week) My husband felt it for the first time last night too! They are strong! I never felt the "bubbles" or "butterflies" ... Went straight to kicks.
At @ 15, I felt little popping bubbles, now at @17 he/she is definitely kicking....at church today, it was consective....not sure if the music/choir/drums were too loud....
Wasn't sure if I was really weird for starting to feel little pokes at 16 weeks! I usually feel a few of them everyday, and even those fluttery feelings on occasion! I really wasn't expecting to feel anything yet... this baby has been surprisingly obvious though!
if I lay on my belly the baby kicks n rolls. I can feel it better when I lay on my belly. I still sleep on belly no baby bump but im a FTM still not feeling them constantly its mainly if im sitting or after I eat .
I've been feeling baby since 16 weeks. At first felt like light jabs and then actually felt the baby roll (it was so weird I actually got nauseas). Now baby isn't shy at all. Most of the time baby moves after I eat and then likes to play when daddy gets home. S/he likes to let me and daddy know s/he is there that is for sure. I've noticed s/he doesn't move to much when I'm around other people but me and my boyfriend has felt s/he move from the outside.
I started feeling at 15w 5d. It was that fluttery feeling I got it first driving home from work and thought I was crazy it felt so different. Now if I drink any kind of sweet juice I can feel him fluttering around. Not quite big kicks yet
when I lay down at night I can feel baby moving, little swishes and flutters. Its still early for me (but my 4th child), so I don't expect full blown kicks for another few weeks.
I started feeling it at 17 weeks. It felt like a heart palpitation in my belly. Lol. Now I feel more little pops, like hello, I'm here. She's actually moving right now. 20w 3d
I'm 17 weeks, and started feeling a slight tight feeling and what felt like muscle spasms, or pokes from inside. Hubby could feel them the first day I did!:) I knew it was kicking bc it was consistently in that area, and def wasn't gas!
I started feeling flutters at 17 weeks if I was lying very still. Now at 19 weeks, I can feel movements and kicks very often even when I'm not laying still. And last night, my husband was able to feel movement for the first time!! So wonderful!
I haven't felt anything yet and I really wish I was! But I'm only 16wks4days and this is my first so I'm waiting patiently but I really want to feel my Baby girl already!
I started feeling what I thought were random muscle twitches at the beginning of week 16, too! I mentioned it to my mom, and she said it sounded like the baby. This is my first so I still wasn't convinced until I had an u/s that same week and the tech told me I would probably feel movement soon if I hadn't already because of where the placenta was located. A few days later, my husband had his head on my belly talking to baby and he jerked his head up because he felt a really light tap. It was so cool! I'm 17.5 weeks now, and I feel him moving around anytime I sit/lay down quietly. It makes me feel so connected to him.
I am just over 16 wks now and started feeling little jabs (muscle spasms and pokes from the inside) a few days ago. I have another u/s next week with my Perinatal Clinic and they should be able to tell me the sex that day. I can't wait! I'm still not really showing, but I definitely feel movement and each new milestone of pregnancy is full of excitement.
I started feeling little kicks and rolls in my 16th week. 17wks 4 days and yesterday our little one was kicking and rolling ALL DAY! It was so nice to feel. Still waiting for when I can see my belly move because of it and have my husband feel also!
I first felt flutters around 15 weeks. Now at 19w4d, I'm feeling her regularly--she's so active!!! My husband finally caught her movements two days ago which has exponentially increased his excitement :x
I've come to notice times when she is generally active, and I've seen her movements along my bump with some of her stronger kicks. ;;)
I just felt them for the first time about a week ago (18w2d). Agree with some others who said it feels a bit like muscle spasms! Since then she's been kicking quite a bit! DH still can't feel it but hopefully soon!
Hello all! First pregnancy here and I THINK I first felt those little flutters either at my 14 or 15th week. But I wrote it off as very persistent gas lol. Now I definitely know that it's the baby because as the weeks pass by those little flutters get a little harder and harder each time. I still can't feel them yet when I press down on my tummy (but my doctor says she could). I just feel them from the inside and it's amazing and weird at the same time. Whatever they are (boy, girl) one thing I can say is they are very persistent. I can't wait until I am able to feel those kicks from the outside so I can share that experience with my hubby. I use to get worried that I wasn't feeling this enough but I've had three doctor checkups since my 14th week and the baby's heartbeat is where it's supposed to be at so I tend to not worry much anymore .
I started feeling flutters around 16 weeks. First started kicking at 19 weeks now at almost 21 weeks he just moves all the time!!! Husband feels him every once in awhile everytime we try to watch him kick or roll he will stop... Little stinker..
Re: Anyone feeling those first kicks!?!
The distinction between gas and baby movements is very obvious once you feel it for the first time
At @ 15, I felt little popping bubbles, now at @17 he/she is definitely kicking....at church today, it was consective....not sure if the music/choir/drums were too loud....
I want more!!!
Baby girl already!
