Twin movement

Hi girls,

I'm 27.5 weeks with di/di twins and I'm feeling baby A move a lot more than baby B . I understand that a lot can contribute to not feeling baby B move as much but my question is, did anyone else feel one twin move quite a lot more than the other twin?

Re: Twin movement

  • Yes . One my twins barely moved , even during ultrasounds the tech would press on her to get her moving! They are both fine and I my mover baby is still quiet active and my other baby is more melow.

  • Yes, I felt B much much more than A. I also had an anterior placenta, and A was low and head down from the start. B was breech and in my ribs from 24 weeks onward so I always felt him.
  • I am 18w4d and feel Baby B move a lot more than Baby A. I also have an anterior placenta with Baby A. I started feeling the Baby B at around 14 weeks, and just recently started feeling Baby A.
  • My baby B moved liked to kick her sister instead of kicking me sometimes, so she was SUPER active, but I did not feel her as much :-). I would see her kicking baby A on the ultrasound, though.

  • Goodness am I supposed to be able to tell them apart?  I'm 20 weeks and have no idea which I'm feeling lol.  I even saw them today on ultrasound and she said they're on top of each other still and both head down, so I guess the kicks and head butts could be either or both!

  • I couldn't tell who is who until 31 weeks and even then I'm guessing a lot of the time based on the most recent ultrasound.
