I'm a FTM. My LO is 3 weeks old and we've been exclusively breast feeding. I've had pain for the first 30 seconds to a minute of nursing. I'm concerned that it isn't getting better as what I've found online says it will fade after 2 weeks.
I'm thinking about seeing a lactation consultant but am not sure how long I should "wait it out." How long would you wait?
Tia!
Re: How long before seeing LC?
Check with La Leche League International in your area? Or breastfeeding support groups- through your local hospitals?
The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new.
