Contractions or braxton hicks?????

Hello,

   I am hoping you ladies can help me.  I am a day shy of 30 weeks pregnant with twin girls this is my first pregnancy so I really don't know whats "normal".

Last night I had really bad all over stomach pain that went all the way down to my groin along with intense lower back pain. Laying on my left side and drinking water gave me no releif. Finally after taking a warm shower the pain began to calm down.  I have a message into my doctor but I am still waiting to hear back.  I have been fine today with no pain my belly is very hard but the girls have been moving lots.  Should I be concerned? Should I be waiting for a call back or just go to labor and delivary  even though I am not having the symptoms currently?

Any advice will help. Thank you in advance.

    Were you able to time them? Did they come regularly?

    I tried to time them the best I could but it was hard with the constant back pain. From what I could time there didn't seem to be any pattern to the pain at all.

    If your having bad stomach pains or cramps you should go to the ER. They could be Braxton hicks or actual contractions. My friend had her twin boys a month & a half early due to pains. Good luck

    Don't go to the ER unless you're bleeding. Call you doctor first. Always.
