Boy name too close to nephew name?

My husband and I both love the name Caden Mark. (Mark after his dad and his middle name) it took us forever to find a name we agree on and he is dead set on it. However, his sister has a little boy named Brayden. I love the name Caden but I feel like it's too close to Brayden. DH doesn't seem to care but I don't know... Is it too similar?

    Nah, we like the boy name Xander and my niece is Zandrea. Super similar but I just love the name!

    Haven't decided on a girl name yet. My husband is so certain we're having a boy he doesn't even wanna talk about it haha.

    I'm having the same issue! I like Jackson but I have a nephew named Jack. Is that too wierd?

    As long as it isn't the same name I think you are fine.  These are two different names.

    I'm having the same thoughts for a girl I LOvE Liliana (I have since I was like 15) but my cousin just had a girl and named her Eliana... Too similar?

    We're in a similar situation. We like Mack and my nephew is Jack.
    I don't think my sister would be too happy with the names being so close, though. She's very sensitive to things like that. :-<

    I have a huge family and repeats are just apart of it. If I were in your shoes I wouldn't stress about it. Name your baby something that you love!

    My personal opinion is if you love a name, even if it's close to a relative, then go with it. You are carrying that beautiful thing around for nine months! YOU MADE THAT!!! You are more than allowed to name your baby whatever you choose. :)

    DD is named Liliana!! I think you are good especially since nicknames would potentially be very different. Elie and Lily.
