Clear spit up normal?

my little man is 9 weeks old (he is a premie as he was 5 weeks early) over the past week or so he has started spitting up clear liquid around the clock; after he eats or even 2 hours after he has eaten. It happens more than it doesn't. He doesn't seem to be in any pain other than the gas he has. He has been gassy since he was about 4-5 weeks old and it started to go away two or so weeks ago and started back up around the time the spitting up as started. Some times there will be little curds in the spit and I'm assuming it's just some breastmilk. Any idea of what may be causing this or what can be done to help it. We are already giving him gripe water to help with the gas.

  • You need to ask a doctor.

  • my kiddo did this and it was acid reflux. They have meds for it but definitely ask your doctor.
  • I have talked to my doctor and they have us waiting a few days before we bring him in. It's slowed down a lot in the last two days but every now and than he has a little bit of what I would call a drool. My doctor thinks it may be some reflux but nothing to the point where he needs meds.
