There are so many random things you can't have, and I'm sure I've eaten a bunch of them in the last 7 weeks you'll be fine, one Caesar salad shouldn't harm you.
You can eat Caesar salad unless the dressing is homemade with raw eggs. Anything you buy at the store is totally fine. Even most restaurants use bottles dressing. It's only fancy places with real chefs that make their own dressings.
Oh me too! Twice now! Also I ate blue cheese on accident, feta, and unpasteurized juice! Sorry little baby! I always realize what I've done when it's too late!
I think the only Caesar salad u are not supposed to eat while pregnant would be if it were made with raw eggs. Most places don't do that and most dressings are not with raw eggs. I'm sure you are fine.
So is Panera's Caesar salad safe to eat? Or do they make it themselves? Sorry if this sounds stupid. It's my favorite and I've wanted it sooo bad.
Call the restaurant and ask. I emailed corporate for cheesecake factory to ask them something about cheesecake and raw eggs and they actually called me back a fee days later to answer all my questions.
What? You're not supposed to have Caesar dressing? I've been eating Caesar salad almost daily! It's usually the Fresh Express salad kits that come in a bag, does that make any difference?

I would bet that dressing does not have raw eggs in it. That is the main concern.
It's always important to be an informed consumer, but especially during this time in our lives. Always ask the person in charge at a restaurant if you're concerned about their ingredients, and read the labels on your store-bought items. If the label confuses you, Google the question and only seek an answer from a credible source! I hope this helps.
Soft cheeses are safe if they're pasteurized, which honestly in America it's pretty hard to find unpasteurized stuff. I think it's more common in Europe. The label will usually say. Your feta and blue cheese are probably pasteurized.
I doubt most restaurants use raw eggs when pasteurized eggs work just fine, but you can always ask. Why would they risk giving customers salmonella when there's such an easy alternative? Generally when restaurants do serve raw eggs (like over easy) or rare/raw meat, they have disclaimers all over the menu about the risk.
It's important to be more safe when you're pregnant, but I don't think it makes sense to be super restrictive for no logical reason. Our culture of fear surrounding pregnancy doesn't help anyone. So avoid unpasteurized foods, raw meat, etc, but your salad is probably fine.
Re: Caesar Salad
Is there like a total complete easy do's and dont's list somewhere??
