August Karter was born at 7:04am February 25th. He was 5lbs 10oz. I was induced at 37 weeks & 4 days on feb 24th due to low amniotic fluid. His heart rate was going in and out so they had to do s c-section. Everything turned out fine and he's perfect!
Allison Mae born 3/9/15 9IBS 14OZ 20.5 inches. Went in at 730 am for Induction. 39 weeks 3 days Dr. Broke waters at 10am and she was here at 12:19. Epidural didn't work and she was so big her shoulders got stuck.
Scarlett Ann was born 3/11 at 7:46am. I was 37 weeks and 2 days. Water broke naturally at home. She decided to hang out for another 13 hours before making her grand entrance. After only half a contraction and two pushes, my tiny 5 pound 15 ounce baby girl was on my chest. I'm so in love and so is daddy and big sister! We were back home less than 12 hours later. Still in shock how early she came but she is 100% healthy!
Lisa Mimi born on the 1st of March at 3:15pm,water broke at the hospital at 2:15pm, labored for an hr...she weighed 3.9kg although she had jaundice but baby and I are home now and she's doing great....Had her at 38wks +3days,... Had a natural birth with no epidural( first time mom)...
i was having contractions all day yesterday . I talked with my natural birth teacher about how my contractions were doing and she suggested that I should go to the Dr or directly to the hospital because they were getting intense at like 5 min apart. At approx 4pm i was in the hospital. The dr check me and I was 6 to 8 cm dilated. They called my dr and at 7:15pm Anna Valeria was born by natural birth! 6pounds 8oz 20 inches! This is my first baby. We are so excited to welcome her!!
We my contractions that I started having at 4:30 this am were the real thing. My husband woke up about 9:30 and I was just getting ready to tell him I was having contractions but as I was lying on the couch I felt a pop and my water started gushing... I jumped up and had a puddle at about 10. We headed in and was only at one... About 4pm I was at 6 and got my epidural. After a little under 2 hrs of pushing Joseph Albert (both middle names of our grandfathers who passed) made his enterance at 9pm 3-12-15 after my epidural had worn off... We are so In love!! He did have to make a little trip down to the nursery as his heart rate was fast and his temp was a tad high.
Addyson Noelle was born 3/13 on her daddy's bday at 1:17am after being induced for swelling. Total labor time 13 hours, 3 hours pushing. 6lbs 9oz 20 inches. Get the epi best decision:)
Paxton Robert was born on 3/13 at 7:54 am. He weighed 8 lb, 3oz and was 21 inches long.
I was induced on 3/12 at exactly 39 weeks due to gestational hypertension. I pushed for 4 hours starting at 3:30 am, cutting off epidural due to it being too effective and not helpful. After 4 hours, both Drs determined that he was face up and stuck bc my pelvis was too small. They discussed their decision to recommend emergency c-section with me and after I confirmed that was what I wanted, he was born 34 min later! He is absolutely perfect
Aria Leigh was born March 13 at 37 weeks 3 days. She was 6 lbs 15 oz 19 inches long. Waters broke everywhere at 3 am and with the help of pitocin, she was born at 10:17 am. I wish i could upload a photo but everytime I select "Choose file" nothing pops up.
Knox D'Amore Bauerle changed my world on 3/8 at 4:07 pm weighing 6lbs 13oz and 20.75" long. My water broke at 10:30 pm Saturday night, and active labor picked up 2 hours later. I was hoping for a natural water birth, but baby boy turned posterior and I couldn't handle the pain by the time I was 4cm. I tried starting with nitrous first, but they didn't have it hooked up right and it did nothing to take the edge off. By then, I was screaming for the epidural and was at 6cm by the time it was given to me and set in. Labor progressed quickly, but baby's heart rate plummeted once I had the epidural, turning his birth into quite a stressful ordeal. Every time I pushed his heart rate dropped. They were so close to doing a c section, but I kept asking for another chance to push. They tried helping with suction, then an episiotomy, and after an hour of pushing he was finally here. I'm coping with his stressful entrance, but just so grateful to have a healthy baby in my arms. They left a large scar on his head that was pooled with blood underneath the skin, and made him stay in NICU for 24 hours. His head is now almost fully healed and he is breastfeeding like a champ! Good luck to the mommas that are about to birth their babies, and congratulations to all of us holding ours now!!!
My sweet little Jude Jameson was born on Thursday, March 12 weighing in at a whopping 9 lbs 10 oz and 21 1/4 inches long. My midwife broke my water and he was born five hours later with a full head of thick black hair. Big sister is very much in love but still adjusting to sharing Mommy and Daddy. Best of luck to all the other March mamas!
Liam Samuel Malone was born on Friday 3/6 @ 3:34pm. At my weekly appt on Monday I had high blood pressure, I was prescribed medications. Baby was estimated large during sonogram on Tuesday (9lbs). Wednesday blood pressure check was still high. Scheduled to be induced for Friday. Everything was going well they broke my water, I had an epidural that took 45 minutes to administer then all hell broke loose.
People flooded my room checking me and the baby , his heart rate had crashed. 2 minutes later I was in the OR having an emergency C-Section. Apparently my placenta ruptured and I was bleeding internally. Liam spent 4 days in NICU with low glucose but we were both able to leave late Monday.
Woke up with wet underwear on 03/12 at 2:30am I thought it was just excessive discharge and went back to bed woke up at 5am with new pair of underwear socked . Went into D&L and was told water was leaking was admitted since no contractions and only at 2cm was strted on Pitocin by 2pm still no progress with pitocin was upped on dosage contractions picked up and by 5pm and at 4 1/2 cm I asked for Epidural because contractions went from 0 to 100 quick ( best decision ever!!) babies heart rate was dropping with contractions so was taken off pitocin but little progress on my own. By 8pm I was at 6 cm and was back on pitocin baby's heart rate continue dropping with contractions and when laying on my left side. By 2am on 03/13 i was at 10cm and time was to push 2 hours of pushing and baby's heart rate was dropping too much had to use vacuum to help get him out 2 more pushes and his head was out with umbelical cord wrapped around his next twice ! Dr cut it asap while sill half in and only head out, baby started crying immediately after and so did I !! Blessed he is good and healthy !!!
Christopher Phillip born 03/13/14 6lbs 9 oz and 19.29 inches long ..he is perfect I was 39 weeks exactly
Aspen Clara was born March 14th at exactly 39 weeks. 7lbs 8oz and 20.5in. Contractions started around 3am, headed to hospital at 630am, water broke on it's own at 8am and healthy baby girl made her quick appearance a few minutes later at 8:10. Insanely fast and intense labor meant no time for pain meds. Second kiddo to go this way. We are in love!
Avery Irene was born at 9:49am on 3/15 at 38 weeks 2 days. She was induced 3/13 after a NST showed some heart irregularities. We get to go home together tomorrow.
Our beautiful baby boy came into the world on March 10 at 10:00 a.m., day after due date, weighing in at 6.8 lbs, 19.7 in.
Contractions started around 23:00, water broke at 2:30 a.m. and was admitted to the birth center at 3:00 a.m. 5 cm dilated. The plan was for an all-natural birth. An hour and a half later was fully dilated and started pushing, but even though progress was good at the start, after an hour and a half of pushing it was determined I'd need to go to the hospital. The 40 minute ride in the ambulance was agony as I just did my best to breathe through the pain and save my strength. Admitted to the hospital and given an epidural while they prepared in case an emergency C-section was necessary. It wasn't, and I made an assisted delivery (suction) at 10:00 a.m. on the second push attempt. Baby was born with the cord wrapped three times around his neck and I ended up with a 4th degree tear, but we are happy, healthy, and home now!
In keeping with Icelandic tradition, he will be given a name at his christening and doesn't have one yet.
Our second son was born 3/16 weighing 8#2.5oz and 20in long! I was induced at around 11:30am at 42weeks!! Turns out he just needed a little help! They broke my water and started pitocin. I had wanted a natural birth earlier in the pregnancy but this late in the game I just wanted him out safely. Went from 5cm (around 2:20pm) to a crying mess begging for an epidural, and was at 9cm by 3:20pm! The epidural was a blessing because I was able to get a grip and enjoy my sons birth!! I was able to watch, with tears of joy, and this time I actually got to see my husbands face/reaction too it was a wonderful experience!!! I only had to push for 4 contractions and he was born at 3:58! (We stalled a bit so my doctor could get there!) So very blessed! Thank you ladies for the support over the last few months and good luck to each of you in your births and with your newborns!
@lkmendo I was not induced. I had zero signs of labor up to my due date, so my husband and I walked around the mall for about 5 hours on Saturday. I started having contractions at 430am on Sunday and I really think all that walking helped kick start it! Good luck
Ayumi Lynn was born March 16th at 11:18 weighing 7 pound and 5 ounces and measuring 20 inches. Labor started at 8 in hospital ended at 11:18. She is now in NICU for minimum of 48 hours because I had a small fever. But she is so perfect and loved ❤️
Baby girl was born today, Tuesday March 17th at 5:53 am weighing 7lbs 10oz (exact same as her mommy!!!!) She is our 2nd daughter! I went in to be induced at 39 weeks because I kept having bad NST's Then once labor picked up, baby girls heart rate was dropping too low with each contraction so dr decided to do a section... In the end the cord was wrapped and she was in a crazy position and needed to get out! Baby and mommy are doing great! (Thanks to the epidural I still have in my back) We love her and she will be named on Thursday
Baby Dallas Jaylon was born March 15@ 1:09 am.. 7 pounds 10.6 ounces and 20 inches long.. After 16hours of labor I was excited to hear that beautiful cry... My first boy and I can't stop staring at him.. I'm so in love ... The pain was well worth it ..
Grayson James was born on 3/17 at 6:56 pm via induction. I was 39 weeks 4 days and he only weighs 6.7 pounds but is 21.5 inches long! He's definitely going to take after his 6'5" daddy. I was only in labor for a total of 12 hours and was completely natural. He is absolutely perfect :x
He made it! Rhoen William, born Tuesday March 17th 2015 at 3:34AM after a very long weekend of labor (contractions started Saturday Morning)and a final fight to the finish delivery (he was in the posterior position). 41 weeks 3 days he weighed in at 7lbs 21 inches with red hair to match his St. Patty's day Bday. We are so happy he's here!
Lilith Jane Marie made her appearance today 3/18 at 12:38. I was due 3/23 so only 5 days early. She weighs 8 pounds 1.8 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. Only 12 hours of labor from start to finish and 13 minutes of pushing! She is too cute I love her so much already!
Georgia Abigail born March 18th at 5:13pm. 7lb7oz and 21 inches long. She was my hardest labor as far as pushing. Over an hr. Much respect to all you mamas who have done that before. 39w2d. I'm exhausted, but she's finally here and perfect.
