Need help with name decision!

Hello dear everyone,

I'm due so soon but we cannot decide how we should name our daughter. We have the following three names - Rose is my mother's name.

Which one do you like?

Olivia Rose
Viola Rose
Scarlet Rose

I like Olivia. But these days, everyone is naming their kid Olivia. So, Viola.

I really like the name Scarlet. Olivia is pretty too but is used a ton. Viola is lovely and classic. So my vote would be Scarlet, Viola then Olivia.

I agree Olivia has been getting overused, beautiful name we just missed the window for it being special :-) so my vote is for Scarlett but don't worry if you don't feel confidentbecause being narrowed down to 3 might be enough that when you see her face you'll know

Scarlet rose. Then violet, then Olivia is my choice! I love the name Olivia, but as mentioned it is being used a ton. I know of 3 little girls with that name. I'm sure once you see her precious face you will know. We are in the same boat. Stuck between two names. Good luck!!

Olivia . Scarlet sounds like you are attempting to describe the color of what her middle name is. Like.. In a sentence... It's a "scarlet" colored rose. Viola is a good name too, just not my favorite ..

Like I know someone who named their daughter Ruby Jewell. Nothing wrong wth the names separated but it sounds like they were trying to say what type of jewel if that makes sense ? Haha. But name her what you want!!

I like Scarlet Rose. As mentioned above, I think that Olivia might be overused. I like Viola, too, though because it's very original without being too out there. Tough decision! You've settled on three lovely names!

Olivia or Viola. Scarlett Rose sounds like a flower variety, not a name.

I'd also suggest Lydia instead of Olivia, similar sound and feel but less trendy.

Viola gets my vote. Not weird, but not common enough that she'll be one of five in her class. All three are beautiful names though, I love the family tie in on her middle name.

That's what we are going with: Lydia Hope. Already have another Lydia born this year that we know of, but I like that it's not too common.

I just named my daughter Scarlett. I do agree that with the middle name "rose", it sounds like you are describing something. Scarlett is obviously my first choice though!
