3 Months - Purple crying and freaking out at the bottle. Anyone else?

Our 3-month-old LO is a fuss monster from about 5:30p to 8p every night, without fail. I heard this "Purple crying" should subside now. Anyone else dealing with this? Also, lately whenever we give him the bottle, he initially freaks out before *finally* taking it. I called the pediatrician on this and she says "maybe he's not hungry?" But he is, because once he finally takes the bottle, he downs the milk. Anyone else dealing with this?

    Maybe push your LOs bed earlier. Mine will go to bed at 630-7pm otherwise she becomes a monster. She does 12 hours straight though. Does your LO nap during the day? Also did you maybe change formula recently?

    Yes-DS was like this, too for a week. I figured out that if I fed him a little extra at his 1:30/2pm feed, he didn't freak out at 5pm. So I would nurse, then play with him or whatever, then give him a supplement bottle with 2oz in it. Even if he only took half an ounce, it helped. If he does flip out at 5, I give him a bottle and gas drops as soon as he starts.

    Yup! One day she just fell asleep at 7pm and woke at 7am but she's a bad napper. She will nap 45mins-1hr 2-3 times a day. 1 hr if I'm lucky.

    @jpagano113 - That's EXACLY my LO these days. Once he started sleeping through the night, the daytime naps took a big hit.

    I'll take the 12 hours overnight instead of long naps lol atleast after shes in bed I get to relax with my glass of wine in peace or go to the gym! Mommy time is fun!
