Delivery health risks

hello I'm 27 weeks I suffer from thalassemia a blood disorder my blood levels are so low my doctor told me if I deliver like this I have a 50/50 chance due that I will hemmrage or bleed out this is my second child my first one I didn't suffer as bad as this my doctors are starting me on iron infusions this week I'm scared about my unborn baby that he hasn't got everything he needed because my body can't provide just curious if there's anyone going through something similar. Very worried

    I'm sorry you have to deal with this, it sounds pretty scary! Hopefully your Dr can minimize the risks for you and baby.

    So sorry that you're going through this! It sounds so nerve-wracking. Your condition sounds pretty unique; while I'm sure everyone on the June board will sympathize and be as supportive as possible, I'm not sure that too many of us will be able to provide you with similar experiences. You might be able to find more moms who are going through complications resulting from thalessemia on the high risk board, which is found here: https://forums.thebump.com/categories/high-risk-pregnancy
