Horrific rash and hives from???

So, this last week I woke up with my eyes nearly swollen shut, a splotchy, itchy, red rash covering almsot every inch of my body. Went to the doctor that morning, he examined me then did US to verify baby was ok. I measured 6w3d, and he said all was good in that department. Dr believed my reaction may have been due to prenatal so I skipped a pill that evening. The next morning, things hadn't improved and I had huge welts on the palms of my hands and soles of my feet, as well as the body rash.
I have heard u may develop allergies to things while pregnant, but at this point I have no idea what it could be. Has anyone else had this experience? What were you allergic to, or were you able to figure that out?
Any advice is appreciated!

    Yes. I had to switch to Aveeno soap and use really thick Eucerin body cream. I also think il being pregnant made me allergic to cats. :(

    I woke up yesterday with a rash all over my chest and it still hasn't gone away. I'm wondering if I should try aveeno soap as well.
