Daily symptoms, no-symptoms and related questions - Thurs 3/12

Want to complain or ask questions about your symptoms - or lack thereof today? Please post here (instead of starting a new thread).

I'm feeling good so far today, with the exception of my left lower back just feeling really weak recently. I think I need to exercise more or get one of those balls in lieu of a chair for work.

Re: Daily symptoms, no-symptoms and related questions - Thurs 3/12

  • Horrible horrible insomnia. I cannot sleep for the life of me..
TTC: 1/2014 BFP: 9/24 EDD: 6/8/2015 Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.

  • I woke up this morning (and every morning since the weather has gotten nicer) completely dehydrated leaving my mouth so dry. I drank a bottle of water when I got up just now but it's worrying me that the baby is not getting enough water
  • Bleh. I woke up early (usually I have another hour or two's worth of sleep) on the one day that I would have really preferred to wake up normal time. I have the glucose test today in 3 hours, so it would have been nice to sleep till I usually do so I could just get up, grab some toast with pb, and roll off to the drs. Now I get to wait :-??

  • Insomnia and inability to fall asleep
    For a nap
  • I've had some sort of rash on the bottom of my stomach for about a week now... looks kind of similar to razor burn but I'm fairly sure it's not. I have some natural oils I've been putting on it that relieve the itching, but it doesn't seem to be going away. I'll definitely be asking my doctor about it when I see him tomorrow, but has anyone else experienced something similar?

  • I've been so gassy and it's painful. That seems to be the only symptom that really stands out right now besides weepy. I've been crying for no reason lately. No dangerous thoughts, thankfully, just tears and snotty noses.

  • @karaelaine1991 I got something similar. I just tried to leave it alone and it went away. At least I assume it did. I can't see that part of my stomach anymore, but it doesn't itch. I just chalked it up to stretching.

@mellymar good luck on your test! I have mine on Monday but not until after work. I HATE waiting all day for stuff like that.

I've also had issues falling asleep and staying asleep. The dreams are also driving me crazy. I feel like even when I'm asleep, I'm restless because my dreams are so wacky. Baby was flipping around like crazy last night. It was the first time I really could tell he was rolling. It was neat but also made me feel like throwing up! Haha. Hope everyone is feeling great!

  • I'm on day #5 of the flu-I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. I was so hoping I was in clear since the flu season had already peaked, but nope. The flu shot was truly worthless this year. I can barely stand for more than a few minutes and am so weak. My chest and stomach hurt from coughing so badly. LO is doing fine-being active and kicking, so that's all that matters. Ugh. I've had no appetite and have lost 6 lbs since Sunday. I've been force feeding myself soup, pb sandwiches, fruit and protein shakes because that is all that I can get down. Tylenol and Benadryl are the only things helping alleviate some of the symptoms and I will only use both sparingly.

I really hope none of you ladies have to go through this and if you have, you know how horrible it is. And its sucks because it's finally beautiful weather here this week and I've been laid up in bed.

You poor thing!!! I hope you get to feeling better soon!

Insomnia has hit me hard. Last night it hit both DH and I. We couldn't find anything good on Amazon Prime so we set up a NetFlix account and started watching Orange is the New Black.

  • Just feeling a bit drained this morning... DH started nicotine patches go quit smoking and they make him not grouchy but I guess kind of flat in personality and it's kind of the last thing I need from him at the moment. Found out one of the people responsible for my friend's murder was found not guilty, which I have yet to really process, and had strange dreams all last night between the tossing and turning. I think LO is picking up on my mood though because she is rolling and kicking around like crazy so I'm going to do my best to power through it all and hopefully get some rest after work.
  • Y'all are dealing with some tough stuff, yuck! Hope it gets better for you.

Work has been insane lately so I am up early, home late, and badly sleep deprived. Dizzy all day today, badly swollen legs and a bloody nose. Gross! Third trimester, we are not off to a good start
  • It feels like someone hit me in the crotch with a hammer! My pubic bone hurts so bad! Hope everyone else feels better soon!
  • Brain tumor has not grown (yay!!!) But pregnancy is causing my eyes to mildly cross! Wild, huh? It's not visible to anyone but me and the ophthalmologist.
  • @kbbtah That's awesome news! <:-P Glad to hear that the tumor isn't causing issue. Hopefully the eye thing goes away soon though, I'm sure that's uncomfortable.

I don't post here on a regular basis but had to comment. Try aloe vera gel! You may have PUPPS. I had it with my first pregnancy and was miserable. Started getting it this time and aloe vera is my saving grace.

My hips are so sore! It feels like someone is trying to pull them off. Not the best description but dear god it hurts! It's such a horrible stretching feeling..

I have been dealing with depression which is why I haven't been very active on this board. I talked to my OB about it and before I add any medication I am trying behavior modification. Eating better, getting outside (now that it's getting warmer), and exercising more. It hasn't helped much so far. Today was a really bad day. I couldn't stop crying. DH actually took DS to work with him this afternoon so I could have some alone time.
Sleep has been pretty much impossible. My right arm keeps going numb right as I'm about to fall asleep and subsequently keeps waking me up. This pregnancy has been exhausting. I'll stop now before I depress you all with my whining.

    Sorry you're going through this .. :-(
  • No sleep team as well. My hips hurt and continue to wake me up all night along with very constant bathroom breaks. I've been cleaning the house like crazy to get ready for my sister in laws arrival tomorrow so my back is killing me too!

I'm sorry you're feeling depressed. You are not alone. I've dealt with depression for years and came off my medication after finding out I was pregnant. I've struggled quite a bit with it throughout this entire pregnancy as well. Insomnia, definitely doesn't help either. It sounds like your husband is being supportive which is great. I don't really have much advice, other than hang in there. I know, for me, it helps to know I'm not the only one dealing with this. I'll be thinking and praying for you.
  • I've got 2 things new going on this week.
    1) Even the simplest amount of activity leaves me with cramping in my stomach...so that's lame,
    2) I've started to get random bouts of dizziness, and this leaves me breathless, nauseous and just gross feeling.
