Hyperspadias surgery

My son was born with a mild case of hyperspadias and I have a consult tomorrow to talk with a Dr. about surgery.  Has anyone else had to go through this? I'm just nervous.  He is just over 6 months old and this is our second consult.

    We went through this surgery when my son was 6 months old. He had a mild case so it was an easy fix. He is 2.5 years old now and we just need to watch out for leaking from the hole they repaired. Your little one will do fine. Our DS was crawling around and acting normal the next day! Babies are so resilient!
