  I honestly love that her name is a tribute to your Mom. That makes it incredibly special and unique. I love meaningful names. Ignore those who have a negative opinion about it because at the end of the day, it's a special reminder of your Mom. Cherish it!!

  I love ana and Soledad but solana does seem like a made up name. That being said though if you love it - go for it!

  I actually really like it. Sounds like a European name for sunshine (it prob isn't!) and it is meaningful to you.

  Solana means "sunny side" of a mountain or valley. It's beautiful and is used as a name. When you see her face you'll know if the name fits

  I think it's really pretty and easy to pronounce which is a plus. I like it better than Soledad. I also like that there are NN options if she doesn't like the full name for whatever reason. Ana, Lana..
