hcg levels

I am 6 weeks 5 days pregnant and I had blood work done when I was 5 weeks 6 days my hcg level was 11,000 them had it done again 2 days later at 6 weeks 1 day and my hcg was 14,069 it didn't double. My receptionist at my doctor office said as long as it's going up that's what matters so that number is still good but I'm still scared.. I know I read online that once hcg levels reach 6000 they take 96 hours to double instead of 48 hours. Three higher they go the longer they take to double... Do these levels sound okay? Suffered a miscarriage in November and I'm very worried about this pregnancy.

    It sounds very normal to me! As long as the levels rise appropriately you should be okay! I also has a miscarriage so I understand your worry. Hang in there mama!

    Did you have an ultrasound done at 5 weeks with your blood work. I ask because they are evaluating for for a blighted ovum, my levels are 11,734 but it's just a empty gestational sac.


    Also, I read that once you are over 7,000 they don't double as quickly.

    I woul think that if it was a concern your doctor would have said something.

    I also had blood work done at 5 weeks 6 days, and my level was 70327 should i be concerned? The doctor didn't seem concerned, but it seems high to me... not that I'm a doctor

    My level at 6 wk 3 days was 76,071 so I think we just have a lot of hormones lol

    I posted on this earlier, but I thought of you because I just got my labs back and were very similar. My first was 11,734 2 days later I am 17,184. At my ultrasound we did not see a yolk sac, so when they called I asked for their thoughts on it not doubling. They said it's good that its rising and they will see me back in an other week for an other look. Not sure that helps, as I have no idea if this is even a viable pregnancy but my office didn't sound concerned with that type of increase..
