Looking for reassurance!

Ok, I'm NOT TTC - I have a 10 month old and a 2.5 year old. I'm on the mini pill and still nursing my 10 month old (although not exclusively) - I've been on and off nauseous for a few days (mostly when in the car) - and today I'm REALLY bloated. I had terrible sickness with both kids, and I've not felt this bloated since pregnant with my 2nd - it not INCONCEIVABLE that I may be pregnant but HIGHLY unlikely. I'm hoping (sort of) that it may just be the return of my period ... Just looking for some reassurance ... I CAN'T be pregnant!

Re: Looking for reassurance!

  • I get "morning sickness" before my period, and the return of the period is obnoxious. Really though, you know what you have to do next to be sure.

  • It could be so many things, pregnancy included. Chances are it's just your period, but if I were you I would test. And report back! :)
  • My first cycle after my first post partum period was really wacky. Lasted 60 days and twice my body geared up to ovulate but didn't. During both episodes of gearing up I had week long mild migraines. Not exactly what you are experiencing but hormones can mess you up! And way farther past the birth then I ever expected.
  • I'm on the mini pill/breastfeeding too and it makes me nauseous sometimes. I also get really bloated before my period too. I gain and lose like 5-6 pounds each time, it's awful.

  • I don't have any advice or input, but please report back if you take a test! I got nervous and excited for you reading your post!
  • My symptoms have mostly subsided and right now it's too soon to take a test (I know what you are all thinking, if it's too soon to test, its too soon for symptoms...I know it's 'unbelievable', but the 1st 2 times around I swear I knew/could feel it right away). I will likely take a test next weekend and report back. I'm not so worried about it now as I was a couple days ago! Thank you all for the input and support.
