I can't stop wondering if I should be worried. I know I am only about 6 weeks and only about 50% can hear a heartbeat at this time. Everything looked good, sack and yolk intact. My RE said that sonograms can be off give or take 4 days. It said I was 5 weeks 6 days. What he said about my beta levels worried me, he said at 6 weeks I should be 5000 or above. Today is Wednesday so On Friday I was 1283, that was 5 days ago. So if I am not quite 6 weeks I should be ok right? It angers me that he even brought it up, thinking he can't add correctly or got his dates mixed up haha. But now I am worried of course, my levels have been doubling fine and Friday was my last blood test. Awaiting results from today now. I needed piece of mind so I decided to post this. Anyone else in my shoes? I am also concerned that I am no longer ravenous, just sleepy and moody with sore breasts. I am over reacting?
Re: Just about 6 weeks 1st sonogram we couldn't hear heartbeat. Successful IVF
This early on measurements could easily be off because baby is so small. Everyone's beta is different, check out this website, www.betabase.info. It's the trend not the number that is more important.
Good luck!
