Going home outfit

I had planned on getting my little guy a onesie with his monogrammed initials for his going home outfit. However, someone told me he shouldn't go home in a onesie because of his umbilicul cord. Has anyone else heard this?

You can get the onesie but just be warned, your friend is right. Prepare for some crusty grossness to show up on the outfit. Lots of your lo's outfits will have this crud on it for the first week or two.
