  I'm sorry for your loss.
  
  Everyone's emotional & physical recovery is different. To some, 2-3 months post-DNC would be too soon and for others not soon enough.
  
  I'm not going to qualify your feelings as "odd" because that's not fair to you.

  I wanted to try right away too. It's not odd. I asked my doctor why I needed to wait a cycle and did I really have to. She said it was (in her opinion) only for dating purposes of the new pregnancy. So, we started trying right away.
  Since you only want uplifting advice, I won't tell you how long it took to get my take home baby.

  My TTC History:

  2009: missed miscarriage #1 at 9 weeks (trisomy 16)
  2010: Infertility

  2011: Diagnosis and treatment (low sperm count, anastrozole for DH, clomid for me + IUI)

  2012: Baby #1

  2014: Baby #2
  October 2015: missed miscarriage #2 at 11 weeks (trisomy 22)

  March 2016 BFP#5, due November 2016.

  I don't think it's odd at all. We started trying as soon as I stopped bleeding.

  We are tying this month after a d&c on Jan 30. I just want to be pregnant so badly!:)

  You can get through this. We waited after 2 cycles to start TTC Again after our d&c at 9 weeks. We are finally expecting again and I am super worried that it will end in mc again. I know i will be worried for a while . Chances of havin a second mc are less than 5%. God has his plan for you and your husband. I'm a firm believer. He gives you wait you can handle. Keep your head up and remember it's ok to cry.

  We had a DNC on Friday. Dr said no sex for a week. But after that if we were to get pregnant it would just be a little harder to determine the DD. We plan to try right away.

  Yes. She said after a week every thing is closed back up and no risk of infection from having sex. Even the papers the hospital sent home said 7-10 days. I know a lot of dr's have different opinions but that's a big difference?!?

  We lost our baby boy at 18+ weeks on Saturday due to a rare chromosome disorder-dr recommended to wait 3 cycles before TTC to make sure things have healed
