So like I said, passed 1hr glucose 3 weeks ago but twins measured big today (30wk+5) at 4lb 8oz and 4lb 6oz so now we're being sent in for the 3hr glucose test. This is our first pregnancy so it's a little hard not to be concerned.....anyone have tips and/or words of advice? How worried should we be?

Try to focus on that you are getting good care-not bad news. If you have GD you want to know to get help.

At 30+2 my twins measured a whole pound less than yours. I wish I had bigger babies!!! My singletons were almost nine pounds a piece. I'm going to be lost when it comes to tiny ones...they'll feel so fragile.

It is good that you are having good care. But relax, the weights can be off by atleast a pound. So yes you could have GD, but your kiddos could be smaller than the weight estimate. Knowing if you have GD will allow you to take control and manage it. Lessening any complications. On a side note I never asked weights... I had too many other things to worry about. But my boys were born early at 34w3d and weighed just over 5 lbs. each.

If it helps, I've had the 3 hour test and it was all clear - but when I had an ultrasound on Monday my 28+1 week twins measured the same size as 29 week singletons. They might just be well nourished!

It is what it is... Nothing to worry about because it sounds like you are getting good care. With twin pregnancy GD is common. I failed my one hour and passed by three hour barely and I was still monitored frequently for it and just got some nutritional counseling. I actually had to increase my carbs! That was shocking! My babies were big and just fine!

One of my twins was 8lbs 6 oz and the other 5lbs 3 oz. They estimated based on ultrasound measurements they'd be about 7lbs 8oz and 7lbs when born - way way off for both of them - so take the results of the ultrasounds with a grain of salt. I had one really big baby (especially for a twin) and didn't have GD. I never measured more than 6 weeks ahead either, gained less weight with the twins than I did with my singleton.
Sounds like they're healthy and that's what's important. Enjoy the last few weeks - and rest up.
