Hey guys. I'm new here! I have a couple questions. I got my implanon removed January 30 2015. I had my first menstrual cycle on February 5-9 2015. It's not March 5th and I still have not started my period. I have taken a pregnancy test and it was negative and I also went to the doctor for lower abdominal pain and she did a test (not blood ) and it was negative also. Has anyone else ever had this happen? I have never been this way with my cycles.

    Yes. It's normal and very common to have a cycle longer than 30 days with a negative pregnancy test. It means you ovulated later than cycle day 14.

    2009: missed miscarriage #1 at 9 weeks (trisomy 16)
    2010: Infertility
    2011: Diagnosis and treatment (low sperm count, anastrozole for DH, clomid for me + IUI)
    2012: Baby #1
    2014: Baby #2
    October 2015: missed miscarriage #2 at 11 weeks (trisomy 22)
    March 2016 BFP#5, due November 2016.

    Okay! Thank you! My cycles have never been longer than 29 days apart! I gave been very confused

    Going off hormonal birth control can throw your cycles off. As Borg said, you probably ovulated later.

    Keep testing once a week or so until you get a positive, your period, or you go 60 days without a period, at which point you should contact your doctor.

    If you want to really know how your cycles work, I highly recommend a book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni W.
