Red spot in my 6 month old's eye.

I have noticed since yesterday this red spot in my son's eye. What could this be?

    It is probably a broken blood vessels, did your son have a forceful poop or forceful spit up? I have seen this happen in a little girl I used to nanny for. But as always if you are concerned check with your doctor.

    Thanks it's getting lighter day by day. Doctor had asked to just simply keep an eye on it to see if it gets worse or gets bigger.. None of those happened so far so good
