Making more Breast milk

my baby will be 3 months on Friday and I'm still trying to give him more Breast milk. I only can make 6 oz of milk a day, which equals one bottle of Breast milk a day. I take 2 fenugreek capsules a day along with my prenatal vitamins. I have lactation cookies that I eat also. But how do I make more milk. He latches only for a little bit then fusses off, so I pump majority of the time.

You should see a lactation consultant!
As for supplements, you should be taking three Fenugreek four times a day along with Blessed Thisel. You'll see a difference within a few days if it's going to work for you.
There are women who have a supply issue so not sure if you could get it up but again I think seeing a lactation consultant would be beneficial. Good luck!

I would start eating oats at least once per day, drink mothers milk tea and drink LOTS of water! The times I don't hydrate enough are when I notice a decrease in my supply. I've also heard that brewers yeast is awesome at helping to increase supply. Good luck!

I take three fenugreek pills three times a day. Drink a lot of water and eat oats and flax. Seeing a LC is also a good idea, but she will likely tell you everything we just did.

Not sure how long or how often you're pumping but I would also say pump every 2-3 hours (I also pump in the middle of the night) and pump for at least 10-15 min. Usually I have 2-3 let downs so don't stop pumping as soon as you don't see milk coming out. I also second the water comment, drink lots of it! Good luck

Some boobs just don't produce. The most crucial time for BF is the first 6 weeks. No shame if you only make 6 oz, as long as your baby is eating. Who cares if it is breast milk or formula
