What to take when you're sick & BF?

I noticed I have a sore throat, and sometimes in the past I have gotten a fever. Delsym works great for my throat but am not sure if I should take that since I'm pumping at work. What can I or should I take?

    You can call a pharmacy and ask the pharmacist.

    Call an LC, call your doctor,don't ask medical advice from strangers. Strangers don't have your child's interest at heart. I would recommend Tylenol for a fever but I am not BF nor do I have a phD

    I recently had a nasty cold with sore throat, bad cough, etc. Our pediatrician said I could take Mucinex DM which I did. Although she said it could cause some irritability in LO & it did a little bit so I didn't take that many doses. Definitely stay away from anything with aspirin. But...I would still call a doctor & check what they recommend for you specifically ;-)
