Halo swivel bassinet

Anyone have this?? Do you love it? Was it worth $250? Our cribs are in our master bc we have a one bedroom apt, but our master is huge so it works. However I was still interested in these bc it markets moms recovering from c sections. Thoughts? I'm weary bc I would need two, one for each twin. DH is worried about me bending over into the crib though.

Re: Halo swivel bassinet

  • I looked at these this weekend and was concerned about the stand. I'm a clutz and I can just see myself breaking skin or breaking bones if I'm not careful. The part that holds the baby is great looking.
Ultimately we opted for a graco pack&play that has an upper level that can be set. It is higher, so good for C-section if we have to go that way.

I also was a little concerned about the construction of it, I assume that it couldn't be marketed if it were unsafe, but it seems a bit off balance...we have a Graco Travel Light (small version of a pack n play) and DD wouldn't sleep for so much as a nap in it...so I'd be leery spending the money on something that may not get used.
  • I have the halo swivel, haven't used it yet but have it all set up and seems like it will work awesome! Very sturdy and doesn't take up a ton of room! All my friends that come over that have babies all comment how great it would work. Hope this helps.
  • It is SO sturdy. I'm not even worried about our mastiffs knocking it over. It is however pretty large. I guess it needs to be the size it is, I just didn't anticipate it being so large. The swivel feature is so nice for getting out of bed and also for making the bed.
