1st birthday keepsakes?

something like this may have been posted already- apologies if so!
I'd like to do something memorable for baby on her 1st birthday. Having moved 3 times in the past year-I'm thinking digital and or small to avoid her having to lug it around her whole life! Any thoughts?

Maybe some sort of picture frames with all her monthly's, a framed letter? I have a journal I write to her in but I'd also like something with her videos and pics to kinda put all those hours of my iPhone work to actual viewing pleasure instead
Of stuck on my phone or in Google plus forever! ;-)
Any thoughts you may have been thinking about for your LO?

    I'm doing a scrapbook baby book for my LO's first year, it will have his monthly photos, newborn photos, a family tree, baby and wedding pictures of DH and I, notes about LO as a baby. I'm really trying not to go nuts on it in case I have another baby! But I will give it to him when he's older, perhaps when he's having a child of his own.

    I haven't done anything like that for first birthdays, but each of the kids has an ornament that we got them at the hospital when they were born. Maybe that's an idea?

    I'm doing a scrapbook would also like to do something with all the videos I have they are taking up all the storage on my phone...... I just found a cool app that will take your videos and put them to music.....how do you guys store your videos and pics from your phone?

    I saw an idea on Facebook the other day that I thought was clever. The mom made an email address for her little girl, and will send notes, pics, videos, etc to her email randomly. Then when she gets older she's gonna give her daughter the email address.

    So far I'm just doing a baby book with monthly pictures and what he's doing that month along with the pre-made baby book pages. I'm trying to figure out what to do with videos and stuff, but I kinda like that email idea.

    I like the email idea too! @clbailey5 I'm using Google plus, it connects automatically and uploads everything. It does not delete from my phone tho- I do it manually when I have no storage left-- any ideas on why that is that it doesn't delete? So annoying?!

    We bought our LO a painting by an artist friend of ours and had the artist inscribe it to LO on the back. We also took a photo of the two of them together in the artist's studio. Baby boy will be allowed to take the painting when he eventually has his own home!

    I've been doing weekly photos which I will be putting in a photo book. I also will have all the guests at her first birthday party write a note in a "it's your birthday" dr suess book. DH and I will do the same.

    Magisto is the app, it's free to download the app but then you need to pay to download the videos you make.

    What about a nice keepsake storybook with an inscription? When DD was born, my parents gave her the book "On the Night You Were Born" and put a nice message to her inside. I hope she keeps that forever.
