40W, due today (!), Jackfruit (I have actually had the misfortune of experiencing the horrendous odor of this fruit)

4. How are you feeling?
Well, for a start, I'm still here! I'm still having prodromal labor. I'm quite moody and sleep a lot. I think my cervix is quite low now, though I don't want to poke around too much to confirm. (The OB recommended perineum massages).

I'm also fighting a bug. It hasn't taken hold yet. I hope I can fight it off. DH, on the other hand, is a mucus-spewing-machine. I can't really be mad at my dad for infecting us because when DH went to Target to buy some cough syrup, the shelves were cleared out of the stuff. He bought the last of it from the diabetic section. To rationalize further, I'm glad to be fighting this off now rather than after delivery.

I'm 40 weeks today

As excited as I am to meet the LO, I don't quite feel fed-up of being pregnant.

I would normally be looking forward to hiking, kayaking, camping etc. I'd be glad if the LO will be comfortable with walks in the park from early on. Depending on his personality, I'd love to take him camping and kayaking soon enough.

Very tired a lot. Generally good otherwise, but seriously tired all the time, even when I get a decent amount of sleep

Rave - this morning I woke up pretty early and LO was dancing a jig in there! Seriously must have been practicing tai kwon do or something. It was cool, but also a little annoying as I was trying to go back to sleep, and there was some serious thumping in there. Along comes Samurai, the Ewok Praetorian Guard. He crawls up on my ribs, laying half on the bump, and starts to purr. I'm wondering if Ewok can hear or feel that purr, and by the gods if Ewok doesn't settle down in there and stop using me as a punching bag.

I'm in Wisconsin so I'm just looking forward to the mid 40s we are forecast for next week. Mid 40s! Woot! That'll be downright balmy!

3. Any other children or fur babies? DD1 (10), DD2 (2 1/2), Burble the beagle, Izzy the cat

4. How are you feeling? Oh the bloat. And the gas (ewww). Nauseous today as well.

5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves? First ultrasound and appointment a week from Monday! I broke out some maternity pants from my last pregnancy, and they are so much more comfortable than my normal pants.

3. Any other children or fur babies? 3yr and 5 yr old girls. Two dogs.

4. How are you feeling? Morning sickness is horrible, but not as bad as some people get it.

5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves? 12 week scan on Thursday. Feeling nervous. Last pregnancy we found out baby had stopped developing at the 12 week scan.

QOTW: Spring is coming!!! I'm in NZ, we've just moved into autumn. I love autumn it is my favourite time of year, plus we've had a hot dry summer, and I'm pretty done with the heat, especially with all of my clothes feeling a bit tight and uncomfortable, and the morning sickness. Hoorah for cooler weather.

Sorry I forgot we have people from all over on this wonderful board. I've had so many friends complaining about snow and ice that spring has been on my mind.

I love autumn, too. Really my favorite time of year! Spring in Arizona is just the calm before the storm. I am not looking forward to 112 degrees and being 9 months pregnant. Yikes!

4. I feel big. I'm uncomfortable with heartburn, getting winded easily, lots of BH (irritable uterus), aching crotch (SPD), back, and hips, and nightly insomnia. And I still have >2 months to go. Waaaaaaaaaahhh. However, I'm super excited to meet this little guy and add him to the family.

5. I don't have GD (yay!) but I am anemic. So, I'm working on that with some dietary changes and a retest instead of the nasty iron supplement. Did you know that just one cup of Grape-Nuts has more than the RDA of 27mg? I love that stuff.

QOTW: I'm looking forward to longer days. Daylight savings tonight!

Hello ladies! I haven't checked in for quite some time - the entire month of February was just one drama after another for me, but I'm hoping March will be calmer. Good to see most people are doing well!

1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? What size is baby?
28 weeks today. 5/31/15.

One cat, who we are slowly, but surely re-locating out of "her" room so we can transform it into a baby room - I'm not sure who's taking the transition worse - me or the cat.
4. How are you feeling?
Huge. Winded. Cranky. And I still have three months to go! Poor DH - he is so patient with me!
5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves?
Next OB appointment is tomorrow (Monday). I will have to get my RhoGam shot and I think maybe TDap (or is it DTap?) shot. I'm a little nervous about that one, since I had whooping cough when I was six months old, apparently right after I got the shot. I'll have to mention the to my OB tomorrow to see if it makes any difference.

Well, we had 40 degree weather yesterday, so the snow is melting, which is awesome (except for the three inch deep puddles the snow melt creates!) I am really looking forward to sunshine and perhaps some regrowth of grass and trees and flowers. And, as I mentioned above, hopeful that March brings less drama than February.

36 weeks, due 4/5/15, honeydew melon. You know what? I'm starting to question TB's measurements. The fruit keeps changing each week, but the estimated height/weight they list is always the same. Or at least it has been for the last few weeks

DS is 21 months, plus 2 labrador retrievers who are starting to get very clingy to me

huge. DD is starting to drop.

I'm officially on weekly appointments now, even though I've really been on them for a few weeks anyway for blood pressure. Also, DS is starting to get really clingy too. I swear he knows something is up.

I can't wait to birth this baby.

I also have to confess my guilty pleasure. I'm not into People or celebrity gossip or anything, except Kate Middleton stuff. I didn't care about the royal family at all, until they announced their engagement the same weekend DH and I did. And then they announced their first pregnancy the same weekend we did. Prince George is only a few weeks younger than DS. And when they announced the second pregnancy, everyone started asking me if I was pregnant - as a joke. But yeah, I was pregnant. She and I both had hyperemesis gravidarum. Now her due date is very close to mine. They'll probably have a girl and use the same name we do. Just watch.

I'm feeling much better than the 1st trimester however I have good days and bad days.

I received the preliminary FISH results from my CVS on Friday which were very positive and decrease our chances for DS. Tomorrow I should receive the results of the M21 test and hopefully by the end of the week or the beginning of next week the full CVS results. I was so happy to receive the preliminary results on Friday; a little bit of relief. I also have a sonogram scheduled for Tuesday!

I'm looking forward to just being able to go outside and walk. The weather has been so unbearable most of the time is spent in the house.

Tired, huge, annoyed about getting up 2-3x a night to pee - as hard as it is to get out of bed! But I think I've actually had a little more energy this past week even with less sleep and yes, I have gone full-blown nesting crazy, asking everyone (DH & animals) where every speck of dust/dirt/hair I find came from. But luckily the house is pretty clean, I decided to hire a company to come clean and they only took 2 hours --- it was so worth it!

5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves?

NO MORE OB APPOINTMENTS! I had my 38 week appointment on Thursday, which included an ultrasound and Dr. reported the baby was measuring around 10lbs ... what??? This is my first baby, how did he get so big?? But I read a lot of other people say baby was smaller than US said... I'm REALLY hoping for the same thing... I'd prefer 9lbs or less please! Because of the possible large size of the baby and my high BP issues, they've decided it would be best to induce (with possibility of still needing c-section - but I hope not!)... so it looks like I'll FINALLY be a mom by this Friday - March 13th! *tears of joy* I'm super nervous!

We rarely get a spring here in NC... it usually goes from 40s to 70s-80s-90s with a week of 60s-70s in between. I would love it if we could have a few weeks/months of 60s-70s! I look forward to taking the baby for walks around the neighborhood or to the park / dog park. I have no idea how soon I'll be getting around, but this is what I'm imagining/hoping.

Feeling ok I guess. Still no energy. Very tired. Starting to get pretty uncomfortable.

Next appt is Wednesday. I'll be 28 weeks. I think they'll do a full out exam this time because I've been having a lot of tightness and kinda crampy down low. Got talked to about my water intake.

It was almost 50 today. (Michigan). I'm just ready to not have to bundle up every day. But the mud and mush spring brings i could do without. Lol. I'm mostly looking forward to having the summer off on maternity snd meeting this little bean.

Tired. Nausea comes and goes. Hormonal. Boobs have gotten bigger and hurt. I had pink spotting last night when I went to the bathroom. Nothing since. I am in full freak out. Talked to the nurse this morning and she is saying it could be from sex that was over 14hrs prior but is going to talk to the dr anyways and call me back.

None this week. I just hope they will bring me in for a piece of mind.

I just want to see the grass again! The NE was hit pretty hard this winter. I can't wait for flip flops and no jackets!

I used to live in the Tampa / St. Pete area. I MISS the weather and the beach. This is the best time of year there. Meanwhile, I'm happy that the snow is finally melting at my house. :-(

Good pregnancy wise. Got a cold with the only real symptom a cough. Coughing is annoying in pregnancy. I pull my ligaments all the time because of it. Its hard to fall asleep with the cough.

RAVE: at my appt last week my weight gain disappointed me at 5 lbs over a month..but my total gain for the whole pregnancy is only 8 lbs. THat is about 1/2 of what I had at the same time last pregnancy. So I am pleased. I have been walking on the treadmill for 1/2 hour everyday very fast pace and uphill so I am really hoping that keeps this weight gain down!!
RANT: Go for my 1 hr GD screen on the last of the month. I failed the one hour twice before but always have passed the 3 hour. Hoping to avoid the 3 hour this time.

I can't wait to start wearing sandals. As much as I love boots...sandals are so much more comfortable. Since all my children old enough for school do an online public school, I am basically teacher here. We work extra hard through the cold months and skip all the little days off here and there through the year so that we can be done with daily school May 1. We are right on track for that. Our March and April schedule is actually pretty light and easy too! My high schooler can't finish before the school's scheduled end date of June and my middle schooler has 2 subjects that she can't until school officially ends, but at that age they don't need much help from me anyways. 2 of my girls are in Ballet and they have a recital in May each year. Thats a really fun weekend. My husband has promised to start work on building my huge walk in closet off my bedroom this Labor Day weekend. So I am hopeful about that...although it has been an unfulfilled promise for years now so we will see.

My mom was buddled up a few weeks ago because it got into the low 50s/high 60s, lol. She definitely can never move back to Jersey, lol! Now, though, she is loving the weather.

Good. A little tired. Allergies are acting up again, but what can you do? Am finally starting to really feel LO move around, which is a relief. I try not to worry, but it's hard. This is my parents' first (and maybe only) grandchild and they are so excited (as is my fiance). I just want to make sure I am doing everything I can to make sure our baby is healthy.

This is a great time to live in Arizona. There is hiking, spring training and all kinds of outdoor festivals. Fiance and I walk at night when it's in the 70s and talk. It's a great way to spend time together and exercise.

4. How are you feeling? Pretty good - its getting harder to get in and out of bed but that's to be expected!

Oh, I really hope so @BabyBliss76!! I'm thinking maybe he just has a big head (like his dad) and is long -- I'm 5'11" and DH is 6'1" ... we'll find out tomorrow or Friday! They bumped up my appointment to tonight, so going in around 10-11pm and getting Foley catheter overnight and then will be induced tomorrow morning... I'm getting so nervous, but ready to be a mom!

Oh my gosh - so rude to the person who asked you "are you sure there is just one in there?" !! No one should ever speak to pregnant ladies like that... we can say that about ourselves, of course, with this mini cooper I have on my front here... Looking forward to hearing about your LO when I get back on here regularly!

Eeeeek - @mdogan29 is either in labor right now or the little one is already here. Thinking of you!

My ticker says 63 days to go - that's so very hard to believe. I feel ok (still taking Colace, otherwise fine) but my belly is getting *really* big and it's getting harder to turn in bed or get out of it. It's not so bad yet that I can't sleep but I can see it getting worse. The baby definitely complains if I sleep on my right side - he might let me have 30 minutes on the right but then he starts kicking and rolling as if to say "time's up! that's my spot! get off it!"

We've finally moved apartments (we had a big mold problem and are still fighting with the landlord about the required notice period in a situation like this). After a month in various hotels (courtesy of Hotwire's low "secret rate"), we spent our first night in the new place last night. We're still buried in boxes, so I am off to dig out some clothing for a quick work trip I have tomorrow morning. I can't wait to be back on Monday and to start organizing things.

QOTW: I can't wait to go for walks and have coffees and brunches on patios!
