For me, it's above 20 degrees F and I think for New England that we are turning the corner on spring! I didn't need to wear leggings under pants today, and it's not getting dark until 6:45 pm. Yay!
Mine is similar to yours, @hoosonfirst! It may be only 36° here in Pittsburgh, but after weeks of temperatures below freezing, I'm thrilled that the sun is shining and birds are chirping! Spring is coming!
Echoing the spring thing. Its 34 here in Wisconsin, the snow that we got last week that I didn't bother to shovel off of the driveway melted off yesterday when we reached a high of 40. I just dropped DH off at work and the birdies were twittering in the trees. Another spring sign - I used my sunglasses. Its been months since I really felt my sunglasses were warranted. I'm sure we'll still have a snow, and still have some cold days, but its really nice to have a bit of sunshine.
For me it being warmer is nice. . . in the 30's here today. The thing that is the best though is this: yesterday my husband saw the baby moving for the first time. It was so nice to experience this together. He has felt our Lil D more and more the last few weeks, but didn't see anything until yesterday. We are so looking forward to the beginning of June so we can meet our little one.
Thankful for my sweet DH letting me sleep in while he got ready for work and then making me a bowl of cereal before leaving. Also, thankful for payday coming up so that I can replace the shoes I pretty much destroyed while moving in the rain.
So, day 1 of the weekend with the in-laws had some awkward moments, but then yesterday all the women surprised me with a shower it was so sweet and some effort given most had to travel to where we were. Feeling blessed and thankful - the family is really excited for the new addition.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understand, will guard your heart and mind in Jesus Christ (Philippians 4:7)
Got a care package full of ADORABLE 3-6 month baby clothes from one of my best friends who lives in England!! I only had newborn/0-3 month clothes, so now I'm set! She sent the sweetest card, too. I am across the globe from friends and family, so am not having a shower. I think this counts, though!
DH painted the nursery last night and got so excited about it he danced with me in the kitchen while I made muffins for breakfast. So painting, dancing, and muffins with DH. It was great!
I'm super grateful for my amazing boyfriend:) I've had a couple emotional moments this past week (where I've literally just started crying for no reason whatsoever) and he will look at me and ask what's wrong and I'll start crying more and tell him I really don't know why I'm crying and he will just walk over to me hug me and kiss my forehead and hold me saying "it's okay baby it's just your hormones, I love you so much" he's seriously been so great through all of this!! Okay I'm done. Sorry about the long post!
@MCRM14 I'm in NE too! Beautiful today!!!! I'm thankful that my husband sacrificed and slept on the couch so I could sleep without snoring last night! Thankful for the weather. Thankful that I get to wake up and have a latte lol.....
@klkonwi my husband used to snore bad but went for a sleep study and since sleeping with a c-pap it's been amazing! But he is also going for surgery next week to help him lose some weight so hopefully that will help too and he may not need his c-pap anymore.
