Maybe my 4th miscarriage

My hcg levels were doubling as they should for the first few weeks so I was getting really excited about this one. Then I got the dreaded call from the nurse saying my levels only went up by 300 points at 6 weeks. Now I have to wait for an ultrasound on Thursday. Last pregnancy the same thing happened and there was a strong heartbeat of 144 at 7 weeks 3 days and at my 10 week us the hb had stopped. So now it's the waiting game even though seems like history will repeat itself. I'm being referred to an immune reproductive specialist now. I was on progesterone, Asa, and prednisone with this pregnancy. Feeling lost and discouraged. Anyone else put on prednisone?

    Betas take longer to double the higher the HCG. Hang in there!!

    I never tried prednisone but hopefully the immune specialist can give you some answers.
