There aren't an even 4 weeks in every month, hence why doctors count in weeks. To figure out months, go by the first day of your last period. My last period was October 28, so I'm 18w3d and I was 4 months on Feb 28. Hope this helps.
I always divide 40 by 9 and then each increment of that number is 1 month. In other words, 4.4 weeks is 1 month, 8.8 is 2, 13.2 is 3, 17.6 is 4, etc. So you would be about 3 1/2 months pregnant at 16 weeks.
I think a doctor would say you are already 4 months though because they split it up based on how the baby develops.
TTC#1 January 2013, BFP 7/4/13 MC 8/7/13 D&C 8/22/13
BFP 5/20/14 CP 5/26/14
BFP 12/6/14 DD Born an Angel on 7/17/15 at 35 weeks
My calendar says something different I guess because weeks 1-4 isn't really considered a month it's considered week 1-4 and week 5 marks 1 month... Now I'm confused!
anyone who wants know "months" with me gets a lie. Not a blatant lie, more like a stab in the dark. Pregnant mommies count in weeks and so do doctors, nobody else knows or cares that much about the exact specifics.
i multiply then divide. for example: im 15 weeks. which is 15x7 (cuz theres 7 days in a week) thats 105. then i divide 105 divided by 30 (30 days in a month, on average) and that gets me 3 months and 15 days. so im 3 months and a half.
also as someone said, the first day of your last period. mine was november 24. That also puts me at 3 and a half months. its pretty simple math.
Re: If I am 16 weeks pregnant, how many months is that?
