feeling odd.

DD hasn't been moving much today. I feel she's moving a lot less than any other day. I've drank a pop, ate some sugar etc. And she barely moves. Now my head is pounding severely and that never ever happens. I'm 29 weeks Monday. Idk if I'm just paranoid or what. :( shouldn't she be moving more?

Re: feeling odd.

  • If you have any fears at all, go in. They will hook up the monitor and have a look to make sure she is well. I've gone in twice with no apologies. They've been awesome and taken my concerns seriously each time. Best result, she's had a lazy day.

  • You should feel 10 movements in 2 hours. So lay down and keep track. If she doesn't move that much, call your doctor right away. That's what I was told.

  • I felt 10 in less than a half an hour, but that was way earlier. So I'm assuming it is a lazy day for her. I'm praying.
  • Know what you mean, mine has lazy days sometimes where I don't feel her most the day and then all of a sudden she can't stop, think like the others say she's having a lazy day
  • If it's a drastic change from her normal movements then no harm in contacting your doctor, but from the sounds of it, she's just having a lazy day. My girl does the same thing, she's usually non stop and pretty hard movements but every week she gets lazy. I count kicks and she's still on track but just not being as aggressive in there!

  • Lazy days make me worried too. From here on out (and since we all found out about our LO) the worry never stops. It just changes form.

Last night I was having some very mild cramping but had no spotting or bleeding and baby was really active so I decided to just try and not think about it. Easier said than done. I do hope you're feeling better today sweetie!
  • Thank you all for the advice! Just as I was trying to fall asleep last night, she started wiggling and wouldn't stop. I got thee biggest smile on my face :) lol. I'm thinking her pattern is probably different than mine and she likes to sleep while I'm awake.
  • There are days where I feel that baby moves too little and days where it's a ton. My hubby is a light sleeper, so if I turn or anything he wakes, he said he's been putting his hand on my belly when I'm sleeping and feel that baby is very active. Baby could be a night owl lol. If I'm at work or busy doing other things I don't notice movement, it's when I just relax I start noticing. Like others said if you are really worried talk to your Dr. Anyway, glad to hear you finally felt the wiggles. :)
