  • I have strawberry blonde hair and have gotten like three inch stark white hairs that stick straight out of the top of my head. They're pretty few and far between, but I just pluck them and hope they disappear after pregnancy.
  • Yup. Although I had a couple grays prior to pregnancy, once those hormones started revving up, it's like they have exploded. Oh well :/

  • I have had white hair since my early twenties. I'm now in my early thirties and pregnant for the first time. Not sure if it's pregnancy related for some people, just part of life unfortunately.
  • I've had a stray gray here and there (seriously, like 3 that I always noticed cause they were in the front or where my hair usually parts. there are probably some I can't see) for maybe a little over a year before I got pregnant. I'm also in my later 30's, so when I saw them I wasn't all that surprised. I have noticed that once I got pregnant I've gotten a couple more, and they are more silvery in color. I personally think the look with a tad of gray streaked thru hair is kinda hot. I'm a brunette, so a streak of silver in certain lighting is kinda cool, IMO. I don't have that many, I'm sure other people don't see them at all, but I hope the silvers hang out after baby comes.

Me too! I was told premature graying is hereditary. Thank goodness for a fabulous hair dresser, and hilights! ;)
  • Thank you lady's. :)
  • I have long black hair and I'm 24 too, I started getting them a year ago :( so NPR but I feel ya! MH is a tad older so he thinks it's great. Pssht! I usually just color over them, can't do that now.

This. Just a part of life, really. I naturally have multicolored hair and most of the red and blonde have gone completely white (more so since being pregnant) and I'm in my twenties as well. Honestly, I don't really care. Hair is just shit that grows out of your head...that being DH and I are "considerably weird," as a friend put it, and we both have shaved heads. Makes me feel like Sinead O'Connor in her prime.
Point being, don't sweat it too much, it's just hair.
  • I've had greys since I was about 22. Thank God not many new ones have showed up now that I'm pregnant! I didn't know that could happen!

Me too! Im 23 and got highlights the other day and my hair dresser couldn't even deny it !!! Im 27w3d but I started noticing them around 14-16 weeks.. Prob some of many grey hairs to come unfortunately ... :)
  • Well the good thing is That hair can be color. Thanks lady's. I am over here thinking is because I stressing to much
  • Yep! I noticed it just the other day. I'm more mortified by all the little hairs popping up in other places. :-S
  • I wonder if it just seems like there are more gray hairs during pregnancy because hair doesn't tend to shed as much in general? Like maybe they just accumulate? I have some gray hairs (sprinkled all over my head so I cant just change the part or something) against very dark brown hair. It drives me bananas. I was pulling them out but my mom told me her doctor told her not to do that because they eventually stop growing and you end up thinning your hair. I dye my hair now but they are super resistant!
