BABY LEGGINGS

Has anyone else tried them? They seem like a great idea to me, but I could be wrong. Lets hope Im not wrong because I just ordered 6 pairs!

Oh, and by the way... if anyone else wants to order them, if you go to babyleggings.com you can get 5 pairs free (each additional pair $2) and only pay shipping (mine was $15). Just use the promo code CF2CC3329

Sorry, if that was too much like a sales pitch lol.. if 5 people use that promo code then I get free S&H... yeah, it doesn't hurt to try though lol

Re: BABY LEGGINGS

  • Ps- I am praying someone will hop on here and say... "OMG I love babyleggings, they are the greatest" because I NEVER just go online and order stuff on a whim.. but I did this time and if they are crap then I am going to be really pissed at myself!

  • Haha. I'll ease your mind! You have a girl, right? I had a few pairs when my daughter was little. I found them most useful when seasons were changing to add a little warmth when needed. So she would wear leggings and then I'd add the leg warmers if it was a little chilly. Or just a onesie when the weather was warm and add the leg warmers in the morning. Plus they're adorable. She's three now and she still wears them over leggings sometimes.

I bought the same deal for my boy though and I'm finding I don't use them. They just look weird over regular pants - he's not wearing leggings! (Although I know slim pants on boys are quite trendy - my LO is too fat!)

    I hope that helps!
  • That does make me feel better! I refuse to put DD in tights because I really don't want to take them on and off several times a day lol, especially since she is all over the changing table these days. Im hoping these can be a substitute and, as you said, be helpful when they weather changes.

  • They're nice that you don't have to take them off for a diaper change if you just have a onesie on.
  • We have some too! I use them when we're at home, mostly to protect his little knees on our wood floors when he's crawling around. It also makes diaper changes easier than putting pants back on (which DS hates). I also use them under pants when it's really cold, and they work great! I'd say it was a good purchase!
  • We like them. Makes diaper changes easy and they are cute.

  • I have a boy. We use these baby legs. It's fine. It's not like they are only in pink or something.

  • I use baby legs on my boy too--I love them and he wears them with a onesie sometimes, or under his pants.  That way no skin gets exposed when I'm carrying him around outside or he's sitting in his stroller, etc. since the legs of the pants always ride up.  He gets compliments on his fire trucks and stripey baby legs all the time. :)

  • I think I might just buy some! Are they like a one size fits all kind of thing?
  • That's what they say.

  • My 3 year old wore hers to ballet this morning - the same ones she wore as a baby. The brand DD is wearing today are BabyLegs. The brand I bought online recently for DS are Baby Leggings. I find BabyLegs are better quality and would be more "one size" - ie. I doubt the Baby Leggings brand would fit an infant and a 5 year old like the BabyLegs could. However, BabyLegs are significantly more expensive. I'm not unhappy with Baby Leggings per se, there's just a noticeable difference in quality and I suspect that the Baby Leggings will not stand up like the others.
  • My cousin buys adult tube socks from the dollar store and cuts the toes off to make baby legs for her little ones.

They are super cute, but not my style for my LO. But I do like the idea of wearing them under pants for warmth!
  • That's an interesting idea too
