Re: 3/7 GD Weekly Check In
2. I eat string cheese and a banana every morning for my snack. I stay full and it doesn't mess up my numbers.
3. I'm a HS teacher. I think being on my feet all day helps. The schedule helps too. Last week we had conferences and my numbers were high after eating at weird times.
2. I've split up my breakfast into 2 parts now. I usually have a Greek yogurt first thing and then have a granola bar and/or string cheese as a mid morning snack. If I eat them all at once my levels are too high. Also, since I love sweets I still allow myself one sweet treat as my evening snack. I've been having a Dove ice cream bar. Carbs are within the range for my snacks and my morning blood sugar seems good. I will be having a growth u/s on the 18th to see how baby is measuring. So far my Dr is happy with my blood sugars though.
3. I'm a kindergarten teacher. I think the predictable schedule helps me maintain a consistent snack/meal/testing plan. I'm also on my feet walking a lot so I get a lot of exercise. I've got several long days/nights next week with no breaks due to conferences too, so I'm worried about how that might impact my numbers. I think I may just have to snack while I conference. We'll see.

2. Planters Trail Mix - Chocolate and Nuts or an Ensure.
3. I work in advertising and my boss is very flexible with my schedule. I'm able to test myself and eat as I need to and take time off for needed appointments. I'm counting my blessings on that one!
2) pretzels with peanut butter as a night time snack. Fasting numbers are perfect.
3) I'm a Trauma/ER nurse in a busy city hospital. My biggest issue is working night shifts and trying to schedule meals and sleep.
2. My go to snack during the day is half a protein bar or greek yogurt, and they don't seem to affect my numbers.
3. I work in a lab for long hours in the morning which makes it harder for me to get my morning snack, but I started to keep a small snack outside the lab which helps.
I am curious about what you guys are getting as fasting blood sugar numbers? Are they below 90? 95? My range seems to be 90-95 mo matter what I do.
2. One slice wheat toast with peanut butter
3. Off work now and it helps tremendously so I can plan meals and don't have to remember to bring insulin with me every day.
