confused on how far I am

Does the amount of weeks change or something. I was trying to keep track of how far I am even have apps and it says I'm only 23 weeks, however I went to the Dr's and she said I was actually 24 weeks. So I'm wondering does the amount of weeks change based on the size of baby or is this a miss calculation. Edd is June 28th

My EDD is June 18th. At my 20 week ultra sound baby boy was measuring at 21 weeks, so a week ahead. It could be that my DH and I are tall or it could be that we miscalculated at the beginning. Either way, this didn't change my EDD because my doctor said due dates are really only an estimation, and we only get concerned if I start to go past the date.So I'm 25 weeks and 2 days today, but assume baby would still measure about a week ahead. He measured ahead at my 13 week as well. I'm not sure if this answers anything, but it sounds like you're dealing with something similar.

I get emails from two different websites with regards to my weeks, and one of them is 5 days behind the other. I think some places just calculate it differently. Example, TB says I am 25 weeks + 2 days, but the other site will consider me 26 week on Monday (which would be 25+4 on TB). Next week my dr will also consider me 26 weeks (I have the dreaded glucose test) but TB won't acknowledge me at 26 weeks until Thursday. For reference, I'm due June 18

The midwife I saw the other day said your measurements are the week you are 'going in to'. So for example I was 24 weeks and 4 days but measured at 25 weeks. It's because you have technically completed 24 weeks so you should be measuring towards the next week. Hope that makes sense.
