High blood pressure

hi! I'm 31 weeks pregnant and just started recently getting high blood pressure. My doctor was talking about preeclampsia and gestational hypertension but I have no other symptoms of either. I don't have any protein in my urine, no swelling, and no dizziness which I've seen goes along with those. My doctor even thinks it's odd but is stating I have to have something that's causing this. I'm a STM and I never experienced this when I was pregnant with my daughter and Ive had norm blood pressure readings since I found out I was pregnant up until now. Since I've had my high blood pressure reading I get really nervous before my appointments and I think I'm stressing too much about it. Has anyone else ran into this before? Thanks for any input!

    I'm 28 weeks and being monitored as well because I had hbp before pregnancy but don't now. Mainly precautionary.

    I'm in the same boat since my last dr visit. My blood pressure was higher than normal and the dr said I gained too much weight in three weeks. Also said my hands and feet were too swollen. Although I passed my diabetes test a few weeks ago, she has put me on a strict diabetic diet to see if I was just maybe retaining water. I was so confused by all of this, but also really upset when she mentioned possible preeclampsia.
