My job is very stressful to begin with and lately it has become more difficult to deal with. Ever since i announced I was pregnant my boss has treated me differently. She comes down on me about every little thing and doesn't do the same to anyone else. She did do this to a coworker who had put in notice previously so I can only guess that it's because I will be on maternity leave soon.
Nevertheless it's been causing me so much anxiety that I had to leave work early yesterday and end up in tears often (not in front of anyone). Some of my coworkers have commented about how she treats me because it is obvious even to others.
Is anyone else going through this? Have any advice? I am wondering if I should bring it up with her. I have a doctors appointment today so I am going to discuss it with my doctor as well.
Re: Work related anxiety
If I hadn't left when I did, my plan was to keep documenting, keep HR in the loop, and quit when the baby came if nothing happened with my boss. If you think you'd be able to find another job in your field, I'd get out. It's not good for your health to put up with that garbage.
@rae430 that sounds awful and I am happy for you that you got out!
