7 weeks and no heartbeat

I am 7 weeks and 3 days today. I went to the ER this morning after waking up cramping and seeing a few small spots of blood. They did bloodwork, an external and internal u/s and a pelvic exam. The doctor told me I have a UTI and a yeast infection. They told me that there was no fetal heartbeat detected and that I am in the early stages of miscarriage. My HcG level was over 33,000. They wrote me a prescription for tylenol w/codeine and also cytotec. I asked them what the chances were that it's just too early to detect a heartbeat and she told me that at 7 weeks, it's highly unlikely they wouldn't have been able to find one. Also, the baby's extremely "low." My question is this, I called my o/b and she is doing an ultrasound next wednesday to confirm what the er found. I've opted NOT to take the cytotec until after the u/s. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? We are just praying to God that the baby is okay, but I'm trying to prepare myself for the worst.

    I found out that my babies heart stopped at 7 weeks 5 days. I should of been 9 weeks 4 days. My hcg levels were 22,000. Today I should be 11 weeks 4 days. We had a 3rd sono just to make sure, but as soon as I got home from scheduling a DNC for Monday I started bleeding. Praying for you!!

    I'm hoping for the best. I wouldn't take anything either.

    I heard a heartbeat at 6 weeks and 5 days, but the baby stopped growing at 9 weeks... I miscarried at 11 weeks 5 days.

    Good luck and hang in there.
