Hi - I am 32 weeks along, and haven't really felt the baby moving since 27 weeks. I felt her a ton from 20 weeks until apparently she changed position to head down at 27 weeks. I should preface this conversation by mentioning that I am 5'7" and my BMI is about 38, so, I am tall and fairly overweight. Baby definitely has a large area she's working in.
My doctor is at the top of her game, and has run every possible check to make sure there are no problems. Multiple NSTs, ultrasounds, etc. We even got a doppler at the house so that I can check for a heartbeat daily if I don't feel her moving. All tests came back as totally fine. In fact, during the NST and Ultrasounds they can see/hear the baby moving... I just don't feel her unless it is a mega kick.
So, it's been determined that the baby is moving just fine - but - I just can't feel her. My Dr. has chalked this up to a "thick abdominal wall"
Has anyone else experienced this? Or am I just weird
