When does baby brain go away?

My DD is 3 weeks old now and I'm still really dumb. It took me 45 minutes trying to figure out to change a diaper genie refill. The first week of her life I would leave the room to pass gas because I though farts would increase the risk for SIDS. It's only by the grace of god that I can still wipe myself. When am I gonna be intelligent again?

I'm still there...bought a new lamp for the nursery last week and spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how to put the lampshade on. I finally had to have my husband do it... Which made me cry because I was so frustrated
