I do. I am 25 weeks and my cervix isn't as short as yours but it's shorter than what my doc wants to see, and every at every appointment it keeps getting smaller. It's at 1.9 cm now. My doc has me on biweekly ultrasounds to monitor my cervical length. My chances of having this baby early are pretty high, but so far he has only put me on progesterone suppositories and pelvic bedrest (no sexy time).
My doc just mentions that mine is still long. I have no idea what the physical measurement is. You should ask your doctor what your measurement means to you. Everyone's body is different. That measurement will likely mean something slightly different for you vs Random Internet Stranger.
I'm 22 weeks and found out at 18 weeks that my cervix is short and was told to take it easy and start progesterone suppositories. At 20 weeks I saw a specialist and was told it was at a 1.7, put on complete bed rest and started indomethicin, which is used to "quiet" the uterus. At 21 weeks I was checked again, my cervix was at 1.9 (a bit longer) with no dilation and I wasn't having contractions. We're hoping that complete bed rest in combination with progesterone and having finished the indomethicin, will help me make it close to full term. I'm seeing either my OB or specialist once a week now do close monitoring. Good luck to you ladies!
I was at 20 weeks and my CL was 1.1 i with funnelling I was given a cerclage. Currently on BR. At 22wks my CL was 1.6. Next US is at 24 wks. Thank god they caught it early very scary stuff.
At 20 weeks I was found to have a cervix that only measured 9 mm. I was given an emergency cerclage and have been going to weekly ultrasounds to watch the stich and check for any changes. I am now 25 weeks and just got steroids for the baby's lungs. I'm praying every day that this baby waits just a little longer!

Good luck to you! It's too early to be on the outside, LO!
I'll be thinking about all you ladies. I lost my son 6 years ago due to an incompetent cervix. Got a cerclage this time at 14 wks with restricted activity all the way til due. Now at 27 wks, my cervix is measuring 5.6 cm and I might actually make it to 36 wks. Good luck to you all, I hope none of you go through what I did 6 years ago.
At 20 week ultrasound they measured your cervix.. anything 2.5cm or less is short, sometimes they can do a cerclage (sew it shut basically) and of course bed rest.. Good luck!
my Last PG I was diliated 2 cm at 30 weeks. I was put on light duty and had to get the shots for the babies lungs. I went until 39 weeks (but had a SUPER quick labor)
Momma to Garrett (8) Makenna(4) Jordynn (3) & Madilynn (2)
I complained of shooting pains downstairs at 24 weeks. They did a US and found I was 2.1 cm and funneling. I was admitted to the hospital that night and stayed for 3 days so my doc could monitor me. They also gave me the steroid shot to mature his lungs and progesterone suppository. I've been on moderate bed rest since, with US every two weeks. I am now at 27 weeks and at last check we're at 2.5 cm! Yay!
Ladies, keep your spirits high, especially if you're on the "bed rest test" to help prevent preterm labor. I was (and still remain a bit) terrified that my boy will come too early to be viable, but as my co-worker who was on bed rest said, "Every day that your baby stays inside is a victory. Just take it day by day and let that be enough !"
