What's your workout?!

I froze my gym membership for this month since the babe is due soon. What's your favorite YouTube workout for third trimester???

  • Not yoga, not Pilates, unless it's intertwined- something upbeat. I was doing a lot of cardio and some weigh training until last week. I also have a 10month old I'm chasing around and lifting but I feel like I need 30 or so more minutes of a good workout. It's been miserable weather so I can't get outside to walk trails with him until next week when it's nicer.
    How far along are you?

38 weeks tomorrow. I had blood work done to test for gestational hypertension yesterday to see about possible induction next week at 39 weeks. I'm jealous you are able to get in 30 min of exercise! I hate being so swollen and bloated--it's very uncomfortable and painful to be on my feet for very long. I just went grocery shopping and I am wiped out lol.

I was lifting weights and doing cardio until about 3 weeks ago. Now, I walk up and down the street of my neighborhood until I'm tired. Trying to do that twice a day, weather permitting.

    How far along are you?
  • I am jealous of your ability and drive to workout at this point. I am just trying to do some lunges and stretches here and there and keep walking as much as possible.

  • Sounds like I'll be in your shoes soon. I'm 36 weeks now with a scheduled cesarean. I feel like my thighs keep getting larger and larger by the day and it's discouraging. I do get swelling that leaves imprints from socks or too painful to wear higher socks. But I just don't want to blow up and gain tons of fat this last month so I'm trying to find ways to amp up my routine at home since my membership is frozen.
Everything wipes me out too and then I get emotional lol. I try to frequent naps when my little one takes them
  • I am also 36 weeks and some days I do Summer Sanders prenatal workout, it's a great workout and if I'm feeling too sore or just not into it I go on youtube and Denise Austin has a third trimester workout that's 20 min. Or I do prenatal yoga.
  • I'm 36 weeks 4 days. The best You Tube videos are by Tracy Anderson! They are month by month and give you a wonderful workout! Love it! Just search Tracy Anderson Pregnancy Workout 8 month or 9 month.
  • I'm 38 weeks prego with twins so my doctor cut off my working out back in January. However before that I loved doing squats and jogging. I hate that my legs are getting so jiggly now.
  • I got too uncomfortable for jogging now, but swimming really helps, and body weight like squats, lunges and modified press ups - and walking the dogs!
  • I've been working out throughout and have incorporated several YouTube video (just search parental workouts, third tri, yoga, etc). Here's one of my favorites:

  • Breastfeeding.
  • Ya right I'm working on my abs with all these kicks I've been getting.
  • Thank you!
  • I've been focusing on booty and birth assisting exercises. Squats, lunges, hips stretching, different yoga stretches, mild step ups, the like. Nothing specific. Trying to stay as active as possible and walking a bunch. My problem is that I've been so sick that I can't gather the physical strength to keep up with my toddler, horses and day to day life .. Let alone exercise. Haha. But I try!
  • My job is my workout :D
  • Been ridiculously cold outside for months or I would at least attempt walking but lately so uncomfortable just going up and down my stairs several times a day is all I can muster. Went to the gym regularly until two months ago but could no longer handle it. My little one moves constantly making doing much uncomfortable and concentration impossible
