So today my doctor checked my cervix to see how dilated I was. I'm
about 1cm dilated...after the examination I bled a little, and I felt weird after...I feel like my back started to hurt I had minor cramps. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms?

    Was this your first cervix check? My first was last week at 37 weeks and I was in a LOT of pain all day. I was definitely crampy and felt like my bladder was full. Today I had my 38 week appt. and I was found to be 1 cm dilated and 80% effaced. Aside from some minor spotting I don't have any pain this time. I do think what you are experiencing is very normal though. But maybe you're lucky and your doctor disturbed your cervix enough to put you in labor. Full moon is tomorrow, after all! ;)

    My first cervix check was Sunday morning... The pain caused a lot of back pain for me in the last couple days... But maybe you are lucky and are going into labor!!!

    Yeah it was my first...it was at 38 weeks. I'm 38 weeks and a day. I'm really hoping that I do go into labor soon. My doc said that she's in the right position and her head is really low. Thanks guys for listening, I'm starting to feel pressure below as well. Any day now
